This document contains the Privacy Policy and Terms of Service for alliancetruckpartscharlotte.com (the "Site"), operated by Alliance Truck Parts of Charlotte ("Alliance Truck Parts," "ATP," "we," "us," or "our"). By using the Site, you agree to both parts.

Part 1: Privacy Policy

We collect only what we need to quote, sell, ship and support truck parts. We never sell your personal information or share your mobile number for anyone else's marketing.

1. Who we are

Alliance Truck Parts of Charlotte sells new and remanufactured truck parts. This policy covers the Site, our parts counters, phone and email, and text messages. When we say "affiliates," we mean companies under common ownership or control with us.

2. Information we collect

  • Contact details: name, company, email, phone and mailing address, from forms, chat, calls and counter visits.

  • Order details: part numbers, quotes, orders and shipping address, from quote requests and orders.

  • Vehicle and fleet details: make, model, year, VIN and unit number, from parts and warranty requests.

  • Payment details: card type, last four digits and billing address, from our payment processor. We never store full card numbers.

  • Device and usage data: IP address, browser, device, pages viewed, referring URL and visit time, from cookies and similar tools.

  • Messages: emails, chat transcripts, text messages and call notes, from your communications with us.

We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information, such as Social Security numbers, health data or precise geolocation. Please don't send it to us through forms or chat.

3. How we use your information

  • Answer questions and prepare quotes

  • Process, ship and track orders, returns and warranty claims

  • Send order, availability and service updates

  • Send marketing emails or texts, only where you have agreed

  • Run, secure and improve the Site, and prevent fraud

  • Meet legal, tax and accounting obligations

4. How we share your information

We do not sell personal information for money. We share it only with:

  • Our affiliates, for the purposes in this policy

  • Service providers for hosting, payments, shipping, email, texting, CRM, analytics and security, who may use it only to work for us

  • Manufacturers and suppliers, when needed to fill an order or process a warranty claim

  • Authorities or other parties, when the law requires it or to protect our rights, customers or the public

  • A buyer or successor, if our business is merged or sold, with notice to you

5. Text messages (SMS)

If you opt in, we may text you about parts availability, order status, pickups, deliveries and service. Marketing texts are sent only with your separate, express consent, and consent is never a condition of purchase.

  • Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

  • Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help.

  • No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third party, except providers that deliver our texts.

  • Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

6. Cookies and analytics

  • Essential cookies keep the Site and its forms working. These cannot be turned off.

  • Functional cookies remember your preferences. You can turn these off.

  • Analytics cookies show us how the Site is used (for example, Google Analytics). You can turn these off.

  • Advertising cookies measure ads and show relevant ones. You can turn these off.

Where the law requires, we set non-essential cookies only after you consent. You can change your choice any time through the cookie banner or your browser settings. We honor Global Privacy Control signals as a request to opt out of sale or sharing. We do not respond to Do Not Track signals, which have no agreed standard.

7. Your privacy rights

Residents of states with consumer privacy laws, including California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut and others, may have the right to:

  • Know what personal information we hold and get a copy

  • Correct or delete it

  • Opt out of targeted advertising and the sale or sharing of personal information

  • Appeal our decision on a request

How to make a request. Email marketing@atpcharlotte.com or call 704-319-5300. We will confirm receipt within 10 business days and respond within 45 days, or tell you if we need up to 45 more. We will verify your identity by matching details you give us with our records. An authorized agent may make a request for you with your signed permission.

Appeals. If we deny your request, reply to our decision with "Appeal" in the subject line within 60 days. We will answer within 60 days. If you disagree, you may contact your state attorney general.

We will not charge you more or treat you differently for using these rights.

8. How long we keep information

  • Orders, invoices and payment records: 7 years, for tax and accounting.

  • Warranty and vehicle records: the length of the warranty plus 2 years.

  • Quotes and inquiries that didn't become orders: 2 years.

  • Marketing contacts: until you unsubscribe, plus a short suppression record so we don't contact you again.

  • Analytics data: up to 26 months.

9. Security

We use encryption in transit, access controls and trusted providers to protect your information. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee it. If a breach affects your information, we will notify you as the law requires.

10. Children

The Site is for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13, or sell or share data of anyone under 16. If you think a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Visitors outside the United States

We operate in the United States and store data here. If you contact us from abroad, you understand your information will be processed in the U.S. Where laws such as the GDPR apply, we rely on your consent, our contract with you, our legitimate business interests or legal obligations, and you may ask to access, correct, delete, restrict or move your data.

12. Other websites

The Site may link to manufacturer, supplier or other third-party sites. Their own privacy policies apply, not ours.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. We will post the new version here with a new effective date, and for significant changes we will add a notice on the Site.

Part 2: Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the Site and any parts you buy from us. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site.

1. Who can use the Site

You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding contract. If you use the Site for a business or fleet, you confirm you are authorized to act for it, and "you" includes that business.

2. Quote and contact requests

Submitting a form, chat or quote request does not place an order or reserve a part. We will reply with availability and pricing, and an order is placed only when you confirm it with us. Give accurate contact and vehicle details so we can quote the right part.

3. Parts information, fitment and pricing

  • We work to keep part numbers, descriptions, images, stock levels and prices accurate, but errors happen. We may correct them and cancel affected orders, even after confirmation, with a full refund.

  • Fitment is your responsibility. Confirm compatibility with your VIN, part number or the original equipment maker before ordering or installing. Our staff can help, but cross-references and fitment guidance are provided as a courtesy.

  • Prices and availability can change without notice. Quotes are valid for the period stated on the quote, or 30 days if none is stated.

4. Orders and payment

  • An order is an offer to buy. A contract forms when we confirm shipment or pickup, not when you receive an order acknowledgement.

  • We may limit quantities or refuse orders, for example for suspected fraud or resale restrictions.

  • You agree to pay the listed price, applicable taxes, shipping and any core charges. Fleet and business customers with approved credit pay on the terms in their credit agreement.

  • Tax-exempt customers must provide a valid exemption certificate before purchase.

5. Shipping and pickup

In-stock orders normally ship within 1 business day after payment and verification. Delivery dates are estimates. Pickup orders must be collected within 14 calendar days of our ready notice. Risk of loss passes to you when the order is handed to the carrier or picked up.

Damaged, missing or incorrect orders. Report them to us within 24 hours of receiving the parts. Keep the part, packaging, shipping label and packing materials until the claim is resolved. We may ask for photos.

6. Core charges

Some remanufactured parts carry a refundable core charge. To get core credit:

  • Return the core within 15 calendar days of the invoice date.

  • The core must match the remanufactured part you bought, be complete and assembled, be drained of all fluids, and be packed safely.

  • Include a copy of your invoice and any required core tags, forms or serial numbers.

  • Core credit is limited to the number of eligible remanufactured parts you bought.

  • You pay the shipping to return a core.

We process core credit within 5 business days of receiving the core. Cores that are the wrong part, incomplete, cracked or heavily corroded may be refused or receive reduced credit. The manufacturer makes the final decision on core condition.

7. Returns

Contact us before returning any part. Returns must be requested within 30 days of the invoice date, and every return is inspected before we issue credit.

To be eligible, parts must be:

  • New, unused, uninstalled and unaltered

  • In the original packaging, with all labels, hardware and instructions

  • Verifiable as bought from us, by invoice, receipt or order number

Manufacturer return rules also apply. We may deny a return if we can't verify the part, the purchase or its condition.

Not returnable, unless we shipped the wrong item or it arrived damaged or defective:

  • Special-order, custom-order, emergency-order and direct-from-supplier parts

  • Electrical and electronic parts that have been opened, installed, programmed or powered

  • Software, manuals, diagnostic subscriptions, keys, codes and licensed products

  • Used, installed, modified, painted, damaged, incomplete or contaminated parts

  • Discontinued, obsolete, clearance, closeout and final-sale parts

  • Opened fluids, chemicals, batteries and other hazardous materials

  • Partial quantities from sets or packages

  • Anything marked non-returnable on its paperwork or packaging

Restocking fee and freight. Approved returns carry a 20% restocking fee on the selling price. Original shipping, expedited freight and return shipping are not refunded unless the return is due to our error or an approved damage or warranty claim.

Return shipping. You pay return freight if you ordered the wrong part or gave us incorrect information. We pay it if we shipped the wrong part or approved it under a damage or warranty claim. We recommend tracking and insurance, because we are not responsible for returns lost or damaged before they reach us.

Refunds. Approved returns are credited after inspection, less any restocking fee, freight or other non-refundable charges:

  • Credit card purchases are refunded to the original card.

  • Charge-account purchases are credited to your account.

  • Purchases paid by check are refunded by check 10 business days after your check clears.

8. Warranty

Parts are covered only by the written warranty of their manufacturer, if any. We will help you file a warranty claim, which may require the failed part, invoice, mileage and installation records. Labor, towing, downtime, lodging and other costs are not covered unless the manufacturer's warranty says so.

Except for manufacturer warranties, all parts and the Site are provided "as is." To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all other warranties, express or implied, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

9. Installation and safety

Truck parts, especially brake, steering, suspension, air system and electrical parts, should be installed only by qualified technicians following the maker's instructions and safety rules. We are not responsible for improper installation, misuse, or using a part on a vehicle it isn't designed for. Some parts are sold for off-road or competition use only. Check federal and state rules, including emissions laws, before installing.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we and our affiliates are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, including lost profits, downtime or loss of use. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the part or service involved.

11. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Site for anything unlawful or fraudulent

  • Scrape, copy or resell Site content, pricing or catalog data without our written permission

  • Interfere with the Site's security or operation, or upload harmful code

  • Impersonate anyone or give false information

12. Intellectual property

The Site's content, logos and design belong to us or our licensors. Manufacturer names and part numbers are used only to identify products and belong to their owners. You may view and print pages for your own business use.

13. Text and email communications

By giving us your contact details, you agree we may send you transactional messages about your quotes and orders. Marketing messages are sent only as described in Section 5 of the Privacy Policy, and you can opt out at any time.

14. Indemnity

You agree to defend and hold us harmless from claims arising from your misuse of the Site, your breach of these terms, or the installation or use of parts you buy.

15. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina, and you consent to their jurisdiction. Before filing a claim, you agree to contact us and try in good faith to resolve it for 30 days.

16. Other terms

  • If any part of these terms is unenforceable, the rest still applies.

  • Our failure to enforce a term is not a waiver.

  • These terms, the Privacy Policy, and any credit agreement or written quote are the whole agreement about your use of the Site. Where a signed credit agreement conflicts with these terms, the credit agreement wins.

  • We may update these terms by posting a new version with a new effective date. Continued use means you accept them.
